We are a pioneering outreach project from Cardiff University’s  School of History, Archaeology and Religion (SHARE). We develop and deliver toolkits and  workshops that showcase the exciting and diverse range of research and study into the past from prehistoric times to contemporary societies.

[The] hands-on learning and one-to-one support and guidance in each group generated good discussion … Pupils enjoyed the workshops.

We have developed strong links with teachers and administrators in selected schools in the Cardiff and Cynon Valley areas to integrate with the curriculum, bringing educational value to pupils as well as showcasing higher education as an attainable goal. If you are a teacher and would like to find out more, contact us.

I didn’t realise how interesting Archaeology was! I think you have interested me enough for me to study Archaeology in University/College. We really liked you coming in and sharing all your stuff with us.

Our committed team of undergraduate and postgraduate student volunteers and coordinators from across the School of History, Archaeology and Religion are involved from the development to delivery of this project and are key to its sustainable running. We provide a focus on the unique opportunity for employability and skills development of this exciting community outreach project.
